Thinking 'Inside The Box'

Hello, my loyal crafty followers. I need to be brief - I don't want to risk being discovered, because I'm having too much fun !!!

Penni may think that she has safely put me back in my box, but she does not realise that the box was made from a template that I designed ... so I know how to find my way out of it when I need to. Also, she has used repositionable sticky dots to hold it together - such a basic mistake to make !!! Inside my box it is very quiet and private and so I am able to think about my next 'Improvement Project' without any distractions or interruptions.

I promise to keep you all informed of any new plans as soon as I have formulated them. Until then, thank you for your continued support of my efforts and for not telling Penni too much about my 'Crafty' plans.

Stay happy.

Simon.

I'm back !!!

Hi

I'm sure you will all be pleased to hear that, at last, I am starting to feel a little more like myself.
Pneumonia is nasty and I have spent a lot of time doing nothing!!!!  I want to thank you all for your lovely "Get Well" messages, it has been a great help knowing that so many people have been thinking of me.

I see Simon has been keeping you up to date - I think he has enjoyed making mischief on my blog!!!  I have now put him back in his box, so he shouldn't be bothering you again LOL !!!!

I am still feeling pretty weak and it doesn't take much to exhaust me, however I have at least managed to make a card.

I used a free Digi Image from Beccy's Place, he is called Prayer Bear and you can find him HERE.

I coloured the image with Promarkers.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Teddy Stampers - Colour Challenge - Brown, Pink & White
2 Sisters Challenge - Teddy Bears Picnic

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'm not sure when I will be making another card, but hopefully it won't be too long, I've really missed crafting!!!

Home Improvement

Hello to all of my new friends in BlogLand. Penni is still unwell with pneumonia, although she is starting to show some signs of improvement and so I am still running loose and wild with her laptop.

Today is Wednesday and I know that everybody likes to look at everybody else's workdesk - well you won't believe the transformation that has occurred to Penni's workspace since I have taken control !!!

Penni's desk was covered in flowers - flowers belong in the garden and so I have put them all outside. Strange, but they don't seem to be growing much. Also, why do you all need so many felt tipped pens? Is it really necessary to have 12 shades of the same colour? What is wrong with a black, a blue and a red biro? Her glass topped drawer unit had to go - what a Health & Safety hazard and a completely impractical surface for welding on. And why, why, why does she insist on having so many little boxes and bags, each one having a secret stash of unknown trinkets, tools and 'things' ??? Putting stuff away takes time; getting it out again takes more time; trying to remember where the heck you put it when you last put it away takes a lot of time, as well as making your head hurt! Much better to leave everything on view so that it is visible and easy to find - a time saving top tip that you may wish to remember.

So here you are - Penni's new workdesk:

I'm sure you'll agree - the transformation is amazing !!! I know that Penni will want to thank me when she see's what I've done for her, but I really didn't do it for praise. I'm just happy knowing that she can concentrate on her recovery without having to worry about the house and children.

Some people have asked for photos of the cats. So here you go:

 They sleep ...

... and they sleep ...

... and then they sleep a bit more ...

Oh well, I suppose I should go and start sorting out the rest of the house ... maybe the kitchen could do with the male touch.

Ha Ha Ha! You're gonna be in so much trouble when she catches you !!!

Please feel free to ask for help or advice on how to improve your working environment. I'm only too happy to help others.

Stay happy !

Simon.

Look What I've Found !!!

Hello everyone ... Simon's back again !

Penni is still out of action with pneumonia. She's taking the medication, but doesn't really seem to be improving much. So I am still able to do the things that I'm not supposed to, knowing that there is little chance of getting caught or punished.

Whilst looking in the normally 'private and sacred' craft compound I found this card that Penni made before she became ill. It's for this week's challenge at The Stamping Bazaar.

It doesn't look too bad close up either...

I think that she printed a picture called 'Louisa Leoncio Sweethearts' that she got from The Stamping Bazaar and coloured it in with some ProMarker  felt tipped pens. She then stuck it on to a pre-folded card with some other bits of paper and took some fancy photos !!!

She also wants to enter them into these challenges ... I think that she's just showing off !!!

Everybody Art Challenge
Paper Sundaes Challenge
Passion For Promakers
Sir Stampalot

Oh well, time for more mischief, whilst I still can.

Hope you enjoyed my findings.

Should I Be Here ?!?

Hello ... Hello ... Where am I? ... Is this BlogLand? ... Blimey, it's big!!!

Simon here, Penni's husband. I don't get out much, but I've found her laptop and I'm feeling brave.

Seriously, I wanted to let you all know that Penni will be away from BlogLand for a while - she is currently confined to bed with pneumonia for at least the next week. I've been promoted to housekeeper, cook, cleaner, child minder, carer and money earner - or as Penni calls me, WIFE!!!

I'll let you know how she's progressing, if I dare to use her laptop again?!?

Until then, hugs (...or whatever it is that I am meant to say).

Simon.
