This photo was taken last week during hubby's marathon tidy up session - Thomas really will try out any space available LOL!!!

So, if you want to have a look around some other fabulous work desks then hop on over to Julia's Blog where you'll find a list of lots of fab places to visit.

It's time for another challenge over at Elizabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog.

This month we have a Bingo Challenge.  You can choose any line vertical, horizontal or diagonal.

I chose Buttons, Flowers and Brads, here's my card:

The image I've used is called A Tasty Read, it's a Digi Image available from Elisabeth Bell Designs.
I coloured the image using my Copic Markers, here's a close up.

I used papers from the Basic Grey Sweet Threads 6x6 paper pad and the buttons are from the matching button pack.  The brads, flowers, twine and card are all from my stash.  I also added some Stickles Glitter Glue to the flowers for an added bit of sparkle.

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Penni's "Rubbish" Candy

Hello Everybody ... guess who's back ?!?

It's hard to believe how busy I've been recently, but I'm going to tell you all anyway because I am trying to justify my existence and I like a bit of sympathy and praise (not much of that around here !!!)

It all started a couple of days ago when I came downstairs ...

...OMG !!! Penni's craft 'area' seemed to have taken over most of our downstairs floorspace ...

... there was nothing to do except roll my sleeves up and start tidying...

... making sure, of course, that everything was filed and stored away in an appropriate place ...

The final result was quite impressive, even if I say so myself !!

As a result of all this hard work on my part, our local refuse collectors have gone on strike unless they get a pay rise. Consequently, I have got 1 bag of 'rubbish' remaining which I am prepared to post to one of you if you want it. In order to 'win' this assortment of apparently useful things you need to do the following please:
  1. Leave a comment on Penni's blog. There's only 1 bag of rubbish, so there is no point leaving more than 1 comment. Your first comment is the one that will be counted.
  2. Leave a link on your blog site linking back to this post so that other people can come and admire my hard work ... oh yes, and possibly win a bag of 'rubbish' candy.
  3. Be patient ... the winner will be announced on Friday 2nd September GMT, so no entries will be accepted after Thursday 1st September GMT
If anybody needs to know what is inside the rubbish bag ...

... there's lots of rubber stamping things, ribbon stuff, some bags of bits, stickers, brads and other 'useful' items. Penni seemed quite sad to see this stuff going into a bag, so I guess it's worth having if you know what to do with it.

Good Luck.

Stay Happy !!

Simon.

Whimsy Stamps DT Call

Hi

Did you know that there's a DT Call over at Whimsy Stamps?

I love the products at Whimsy Stamps so I thought I'd give it a go.

You have to share three of your best creations - it's so difficult to choose.  They don't have to be made using Whimsy Stamps so,  if you don't have any of their products, you can still give it a go.

Here are my three:

Well, thanks for looking and please wish me luck.

WOYWW 17.08.11

If you're looking for my Paper Shelter Post you can find it HERE

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it's a while since I posted my workspace, so I thought I give you a little peek.

Before I could get crafting today, I had to move Thomas out of the way!!!!

I'm crafting on the dining table again - partly for more space and partly because my usual craft desk is piled high with stuff I need to find a home for!!!! I'm busy today making gifts for my boys to take to their teachers when they go back to school.  I'm making some Post It Notes Holders - 6 in total!!!

Of course, we can't have favourites, so here's a picture of Erin, she's 15 months only now but still very petite next to Thomas.  She won't stop growing until she is about 3 years old, so there's plenty of time for her to catch up with him.  She's a lovely cat, very affectionate and very cheeky LOL!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by Julia's Blog for a list of all the WOYWWers today.

The Paper Shelter - 1-2-3 It's A Recipe!!!

Hi

For this week's challenge over at The Paper Shelter Blog we have a Recipe for you -

1 Embellishment
2 Images
3 Papers

Here's my card.

You may have noticed that I haven't actually done any colouring on this card.  When you buy an image from The Paper Shelter, not only to you get your image in standard black and white line art, but you also get an image in pre-coloured format too - How fabulous is that !!!

The images I've used are called Yummy and The Final Touch.
Here's a close up of the image, you will see that it did enhance the pre-coloured image by addiing some Spica Glitter Pens to the Ice Cream and the Cherries - or at least I hope you can, Spica Glitter isn't easy to photograph well LOL!!!

I'm entering this card into this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge where the theme is Food & Drink.

As always, there's a fabulous prize on offer to this week's winner.

So, hop on over to The Paper Shelter Blog and join in with our challenge.  I can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by.
